Teaching staff from Telford Langley School are preparing to take on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds in memory of Joshua Lloyd, a beloved student who sadly passed away in June 2023.

Oli Freeman and Matthew Creed, along with 8 other colleagues, will be climbing the highest peaks in Wales, England, and Scotland—Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), Scafell Pike, and Ben Nevis—aiming to complete the challenge within two days. Their efforts will support Asthma + Lung UK, while all proceeds from school-based fundraising activities will be donated to Dawley Youth Club. Both organisations were personally chosen by Joshua’s mother.

The school has said:
“Joshua was an inspiring individual who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His enthusiasm for life and his dedication to helping others were truly remarkable. Joshua’s legacy continues to inspire us to make a difference in the world, and this challenge is our way of honouring his memory and the positive influence he had on our school community.”

Members of the public are welcomed and encouraged to support Oli’s and Matthew’s challege by donating to the Just Giving page, which can be found in the link below. They’ll be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June.
