What's On in Great Dawley
At Great Dawley Town Council, we’re proud to bring our community together through a wide range of events and activities for all ages.
From our regular bi-weekly Youth Clubs and weekly Dawley Dinners, to dedicated events supporting our Armed Forces Community — including Armed Forces Evenings and the much-loved Poppy Dance — there’s always something happening. We are also honoured to support the Royal British Legion with the Annual Remembrance Services held across Great Dawley.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of popular community events, including the Malinslee Big Picnic and our well-known, widely attended Dawley Day. During the festive season, our Christmas Light Switch On events in Dawley and Malinslee Centres bring residents together to celebrate and kick off the holidays.
Alongside these larger events, we also run regular monthly services such as Chatty Club and Baby Babble, helping to create welcoming spaces for people to connect, socialise, and feel part of the community.
