New opening date for Dawley Post Office is confirmed

The new opening date for Dawley Post Office at the Lifestyle Express store, Burton Street, Dawley has been confirmed for Tuesday 7 March.

The Post Office apologies for the original opening date being postponed due to unforeseen delays with refurbishment and work to accommodate the Post Office.

When the Post Office reopens, it will be open daily and for longer hours and restore the service to the local community.

Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday: 8am-7pm and Sunday: 10am-4pm.

The opening hours will mean 72 hours of Post Office service a week which is an extra 19 hours and 30 minutes of Post Office service than before.

This includes earlier opening and later closing making it easier for customers to visit.

There will also be two Post Office counters alongside the retail counter.
