Photo ID now required to vote at polling stations

Local elections are being held on 4 May in Telford and Wrekin. New government legislation means you will need to show PHOTO ID to vote at a polling station. Please help us spread the word.

If you don’t have an accepted form of photo ID, you can now apply for a FREE voter ID document, known as a Voter Authority Certificate. Please note, you will not need to show photo ID to apply to vote by post for this election.
