Mayor Completes Epic Bike Ride Challenge

Over the past four days, Cllr Ian Preece, the Mayor of Great Dawley has been cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats to help raise money for Severn Hospice.

After 70 Hours of total cycling time (101 including sleep), the Mayor of Great Dawley has finally made it to John O’Groats. Completing his charity bike ride. Well Done Cllr Preece!

We would like to say a massive thank you to all who have donated. We have managed to raise over £2,200 for the hospice. We will be keeping the GoFundMe live for a week for those who still wish to donate.
