Great Dawley Town Council are delighted to see that Dawley High Street has recently become one of the first ‘Armed Forces Friendly’ High Street within the UK.
Back in March of this year, over 30 businesses within our High Street signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging a promise that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
This afternoon (21st June) Cllr Ian Preece, Mayor of Great Dawley Town Council visited all of the businesses to hand them their certificates and to personally thank them for signing the pledge.
