Community Library

Great Dawley Town Council took over the management of the Dawley and Malinslee Community Library in January  2017 from Telford and Wrekin Council. Great Dawley are responsible for the day-to-day running of the library (including looking after the building and the volunteers who help) the library service is still linked to the with Telford and Wrekin Libraries for services such as book return & reservations.

In March 2023, Great Dawley Town Council, working in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council Library Services officially relaunched the Library which now includes new and refreshed services for residents to use, free of charge.

The new services now include a more modern free to use computer suite, printing facilities, and a freephone to key Borough Council services.
