Councillor Barry Parnaby

I have worked in Social Services as a Social Worker and in Social Work Management. I have also worked for Ofsted as a Team Manager and later as a member of the National Compliance, Investigation and Enforcement team. I have lived in Telford for over 35 years and have been involved in many volunteer roles. Since retirement I am actively involved in the Carers Partnership Board and I am the Chair of the Board of Healthwatch; an organisation that seeks and responds to the views and concerns of everyone who uses services provided by the NHS. I joined the Council to help promote and maintain the highest standards of services for the community and improve the quality of life for all residents. I look forward to working with a highly motivated staff team.
