Councillor Lyndsey Parker

I joined Great Dawley Town Council in October 2020 for the Dawley Ward. I was born and attended school in Dawley and have spent most of my adult life living here as well. It is a fantastic place to live with a real sense of community that has been lost in some of the bigger towns and cities and I look forward to helping enrich this in my role. I am passionate about supporting those with chronic health conditions and disability. I have volunteered with the NHS to give service users more of a voice in health care and work with organisations to end stigma related to mental health. I hope to be able to help and support those in Dawley who may be struggling, for any reason, especially during these challenging and isolating times.
