Great Dawley Town Council was formed in 1988 and is the parish authority for Dawley and Malinslee, with a population of approximately 12,000 and an electorate of 8232. We gained Quality Parish Council Status in 2005 and we were instrumental in forming the Dawley Regeneration partnership, striving to make the area a better place in which to live and work.
The Town Council is divided into two wards, Dawley and Malinslee. We have a total of 14 elected Councillors divided equally between the two wards. The last local election took place in May 2019.
